Maitha Al Shamsi and Japanese Ambassador discuss cooperation

ABU DHABI 2nd September 2015 (WAM) -- Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi Minister of State and Chairwoman of the Marriage Fund and Kanji Fujiki Japan's Ambassador to the UAE have discussed ways to enhance cooperation and partnerships between the UAE and Japan in family issues to find mechanisms to promote cultural and social cooperation.

During the meeting which was held at the Marriage Fund headquarters Dr. Al Shamsi reviewed the most prominent social initiatives of the Marriage Fund to be implemented in the coming period which reflects the comprehensive social and family development strategy in the UAE.

Al Shamsi wished the friendly Japanese people further progress and prosperity expressing her hope for the continuation of such exchange visits to achieve common goals that serve the two friendly peoples.

Mr. Fujiki commended the vision of the Marriage Fund agenda which he said reflected the UAE's keenness to promote family awareness.

The ambassador also praised the quality of the services provided by the institution which reflects the true values of its noble mission in providing financial and moral support for those who want to get married.
