Qatar stock index gains 61.27 points

DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 61.27 points or 0.52 percent when the bourse closed trading at 11811.56 points Tuesday.

The daily turnover decreased to QR196.58m with a volume of 3604728 shares from 3052 deals compared to QR239.55m with a volume of 4712107 shares from 4061deals on Monday.

Real Estate index rose today 0.62 percent to 2681.48 points reports QNA.

Banks and Financial Services sector index gained today 0.07 percent to 3116.03 points.

Consumer Goods and Services index added 0.73 percent to 7191.8 points while Telecoms sector index dropped 0.63 percent to 1093.66points.

QSE Total Return Index up to 0.52 percent to 18359.37 points QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index gained 0.45 percent to 4575.55 points and QSE All Share Index increased 0.52 percent to 11811.56 points.

From the 43 companies listed on QSE investors exchanged shares of 40. From these 23 gained 12 went down and five remained unchanged.
