(MENAFN- Arab Times) Kuwait International Bank celebrated the departure of Riad Al Awadh, Senior Manager of Small and Medium Enterprises-Commercial Banking on the occasion of his retirement. The event, held in KIB Head Office, was in recognition of Al Awadh's long service marked with great loyalty and remarkable achievement. Sheikh Mohammed Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, KIB Chairman, the bank's leading officials and employees were present at the farewell.
"This recognition represents KIB's continued appreciation and commitment to its people for their long service, dedication and performance. An outstanding features which contribute to KIB's leadership and competency eternally and externally, not to mention its achievements of many prestigious awards and application certificates", said Sheikh Mohammed Al-Jarrah, speaking on the occasion.
"Al Awadh sets as a good ideal example of persistency and respect. He earned the praise, trust and confidence of his superiors, as well as the admiration of his subordinates at the same time", he continued and commented, "Those who are not thankful for people are not thankful for Allah."
"We wish Al Awadh and his family all the best and happiness in their future endeavors. KIB highly adheres to policies that support its talented staff. I feel very much proud of my long service of almost 27 years in the banking industry generally, and 17 in KIB in particular. The impact of my KIB experience will always last forever".
"Thanks to everyone who taught me to be a professional staff, thanks to those who supported, trusted and helped me to be responsible for my deeds. Similarly, I thank those who disagreed with me making me a good communicator", he added.
