(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Israeli occupation forces today arrested two Palestinians and caused many citizens to suffocate during the suppression of a peaceful demonstration which started in the west bank town of Beit Jala to condemn the land grabbing in Beer Oana to complete the construction of the separation wall.
Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) said the demonstration called by the Palestinian national forces and the Popular committee of Beit Jala with the participation of Christian religious men, citizens and national forces moved in the direction of that area lands. Israeli occupation forces suppressed the demonstration by firing teargas and stun grenades causing many protestors to suffocate.
Advisor to the Palestinian President for Christians Affairs Ziad Al-Bandak, President of Beit Jala Municipality Nicola Khamees, Secretary General of the Palestinian Initiative Mustafa Al-Bargouthi, Christian religious men, activists and citizens took part in the demonstration.
