Governors of GCC central banks, monetary agencies to meet in Doha Wed.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Governors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) monetary agencies and central banks committee will hold its 62st meeting here next Wednesday to discuss a number of issues and recommendations tackling the supervising and monitoring of GCC banking system.
The GCC General Secretariat in a press release said the committee members will discuss sub-committees recommendations to enhance supervision and monitoring of the banking system.
It said that during the meeting they will also fighting money laundering and the preparations for the GCC 12th banking conference to be hosted in the Omani capital of Muscat in the second half of 2016.
