UAE- TCA Abu Dhabi delegation visits Tawam Hospital to support young cancer patients

ABU DHABI 31st August 2015 (WAM) -- A delegation from Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority TCA Abu Dhabi recently visited Tawam Hospital Al Ain as part of a volunteer initiative aimed at promoting the spirit of community service and humanitarian activism among its employees. The delegation included the Social Responsibility and Promotion staff at TCA Abu Dhabi along with volunteers from the Positive Cancer Foundation.

The delegation distributed souvenir toys as a gesture to inspire hope and as an expression of love and support for the children. In addition all 30 children aged between 6 months and 16 years received free tickets to attend a Swiss troupe's mime performance in Al Ain which was part of the Abu Dhabi Summer Season.

The hospital visit is part of TCA Abu Dhabi's social responsibility strategy that seeks to build communication among all cancer patients listen to their concerns and provide them with the moral and psychological support needed to fight against the disease.
