Qatar- Deputy Emir meets new ambassadors


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday received in his Emiri Diwan office new ambassadors who presented their credentials.

They were Heong Keong (Korea), Wilfredo C Santos (the Philippines), Dodou Bami Jagne (Gambia), Jeremy Clark Watson (New Zealand), Lee Chen (China), Francisco Javier Niembro Cibrian (Mexico) and Faihan Al Fayez Chaljub (Colombia).

The envoys conveyed to the Deputy Emir greetings of their countries' leaders and wishes to Qatar of further progress and prosperity. The Deputy Emir welcomed the new ambassadors and wished them success and relations between Qatar and their countries further development.

The Deputy Emir also met in his Emiri Diwan office outgoing ambassadors Waheed Mubarak Sayar (Bahrain) and Sayyed Massoud Mahmoud Khandoukar (Bangladesh) and wished them success in their future assignments and relations between Qatar and their countries further development.

The ambassadors expressed gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Emir and state officials for cooperation during their tenure.
