Emaar awards Burj Khalifa contract to Bee'ah


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)Bee'ah has been awarded a five-year contract to introduce recycling logistics create sustainability awareness among tenants and residents and to provide integrated waste management services to the Burj Khalifa.

A tendering process saw the environment and waste management company add the tallest tower in the world to its client portfolio. Bee'ah has won multiple Dubai-based contracts in recent months including Media City Knowledge Village Academic City Internet City.

Khaled Al Huraimel group chief executive officer at Bee'ah said: "We look forward to fulfilling the environmental requirements of the world's most iconic building. Burj Khalifa represents a significant step forward in the company's vision as we expand further into Dubai and seek to strengthen our position as environmental leaders in the Middle East."

Speaking about the challenges that the Burj Khalifa poses Al Huraimel said it represents one of the most sophisticated logistical systems in Bee'ah's portfolio given that it has over 160 stories 900 residences and 37 office floors.
