Saudi- 26 Egyptians deported


(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: With the government continuing the campaign against expatriate workers for violating residency laws in the Kingdom 26 Egyptians nationals were deported on Saturday as their residency permits had expired and they were without valid papers.
'The overstaying illegals were deported from King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah on Saturday and reached Cairo' sources at the Egyptian Embassy said Sunday.
He reported that the returning workers were provided with travel documents by the Egyptian Consulate in Jeddah.
The government and the courts recently issued 35010 penalties on both expatriates and citizens across the Kingdom who were penalized for dealing with harboring or employing illegal workers.
