EduTraC to showcase Oman's education

Education has been one of the first and most prominent benefits accompanying the development of modern Oman. Significant developments are occurring in higher education under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

The sultanate has been instrumental in introducing these education reforms since the dawn of modern renaissance - A new era in the development of modern education. This year the Ministry of Higher Education declared 28000 scholarships for Omani students which led to the increase in number of students pursuing higher studies in Oman's leading educational institutions.

To highlight the surge in the sultanate's higher education EduTraC Oman 2015 - three-day event will take place under the patronage of Ministry of Higher Education Ministry of Civil Services and Ministry of Manpower.

EduTraC Oman 2015 is supported by Education USA Embassy of US Education Malaysia UK Trade & Investment British Council Educational Consultants India Limited (Ed CIL) and Ministry of Education & Culture Cyprus. For the first time Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA) will participate as the associate partner and Apple Inc as the education technology partner.

Said Amur al Rahbi director of Qualifications Equivalence & Recognition Department Ministry of Higher Education said 'EduTraC Oman 2015 will feature a focused pavilion for 'Study in Oman' offering an opportune platform for the local universities to connect with students and offer information about the college/university's quality programmes courses and curriculum.

'The Ministry of Higher Education is extremely delighted to support the second edition of EduTraC Oman and invites all local institutions to participate at the 'Study in Oman Pavilion' and strengthen the institution's presence in Oman's vibrant higher education market.'

Sponsors at EduTraC Oman 2015 are Majan College (University College) as the Diamond sponsor. College of Banking & Financial Studies International College of Engineering and Management Caledonian College of Engineering Gulf College National Automotive Higher Institute and IE Business School as the Platinum sponsors.

EduTraC Oman is organised by Al Nimr International Exhibition Organiserssultanate's leading organiser in the exhibitions and conferences industry. The expo will be open for visitors from October 1214 at Oman International Exhibition Centre.
