(MENAFN- Arab Times) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah sent a cable of condolences to his brother King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, of Bahrain, over the terrorist attack that hit in Karranah village, north Manama, on Friday evening. On behalf of the State of Kuwait, His Highness the Amir strongly condemned the bomb attack that killed a Bahraini policeman and wounded several others.

Four police officers were among the injured, one of them seriously, Information Minister Isa Abdulrahman Al Hammadi told AFP. Bahraini authorities said earlier this month they had arrested five suspects over the attack. Police chief Major General Tariq al- Hasan said the suspects had links to Iran's Revolutionary Guards and the Iranbacked Shiite militant movement Hezbollah.
