Arab Scouts Jamboree kicks off in Jordan


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Amman Dhu-AlQa'dah 15 1436 August 30 2015 SPA -- The 31st Arab Scout Jamboree started in Amman on Saturday with the participation of 750 scouts and guides from 14 Arab countries.
The event is organized by Jordan's Scout Association for Boy Scouts and Girl Guides in cooperation with the Arab Scout Organization.
The jamboree held between August 29 and September 8 aims at promoting ties among participants exchanging expertise expanding the scout activities in the Arab world and familiarizing the participants with Jordan's heritage and historical sites.
