(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) ANKARA Turkey Dhu-AlQa'dah 14 1436 Aug 29 2015 SPA -- Three attacks or clashes between Turkish security forces and Kurdish rebels have killed five people and injured 24 others in southeast Turkey AP cited officials and media reports as showing.
The Tunceli governor's office said Saturday the rebels of the Kurdistan Workers' Party or PKK attacked government buildings in the province with rocket-propelled grenades triggering a clash that killed a police officer and two militants.
The state-run Anadolu Agency said the rebels also fired at police outside a hospital in nearby Sanliurfa province late Friday killing two officers.
Meanwhile 10 policemen and 14 civilians were injured when the rebels detonated an improvised explosive device as a police bus passed by in Mardin province Anadolu reported.
Renewed fighting with the PKK has killed dozens of people since July mostly police and soldiers.
