Yemeni FM praises UAE's support for legitimacy

CAIRO 27th August 2015 (WAM) -- Yemeni Foreign minister Dr. Riad Yasin has appreciated the efforts made by the United Arab Emirates in support of restoring legitimacy in Yemen and confronting the armed militia there.

In a statement made to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) in Cairo Thursday after meeting Arab League's Secretary General Dr. Nabil Al Arabi Yasin said a joint meeting of Arab foreign and defence ministers will be held next week in Cairo.

He paid homage to the martyrs of the UAE Armed Forces who died in Yemen while performing their national duty and aiding their brothers in liberating Aden and other areas of Yemen.

Yasin expected the return of Yemeni government to Aden soon describing the Houthis' attempts to perpetuate separation of southern Yemen as "ridiculous."
