Oman- Culinary Journey promotion begins

IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) has recently launched Culinary Journey promotion to develop a repertoire of unique signature dishes for guests dining in IHG's hotels across AMEA (Asia Middle East and Africa) and have appointed seven Culinary Ambassadors including Vikas Khanna an award winning Indian chef food writer and humanitarian.

His culinary journey started in Amritsar India where he learned the intricacies of Indian cuisine from his grandmother. His extensive TV appearances include the Martha Stewart Show and he is host of MasterChef India.

His New York restaurant Junoon was awarded a Michelin star and he was also voted 'New York's Hottest Chef'. Khanna leads a number of humanitarian causes and in recognition of this he was invited to cook for President Obama.

Sydney's Chef of the Year Ross Lusted is well known for his style of Modern Australian cuisine. Ross's culinary journey began as a child on his parent's farm.

He perfected his art in award winning restaurants such as Rockpool Sydney's Harbour Kitchen & Bar and Singapore's Mezza9. His first restaurant - The Bridge Room - opened to rave reviews and he was recently voted Chef of the Year' by the Sydney Morning Herald.
As a youngster Chef Ian Kittichai used to help his mother buy produce for her shop but he had never planned to be a chef. His culinary journey began almost accidentally working part-time at a 5-star hotel in London.
