(MENAFN) UAE-based Empower, a district cooling services provider, announced that it has won eight servicing contracts with a total worth of USD8.43 million in July.
The company also said that it has added 35 buildings to its existing portfolio of buildings it is serving during the cited period.
Empower said that the total number of buildings connected to its district cooling systems rose strongly, underscoring the importance of similar systems.
The district cooling systems can help save up to 50 percent of total power consumption compared to traditional systems, the company said.
