Australian business investment declines 2.5 percent in Q2


(MENAFN) Australian business investment failed to meet market expectations of 2.5 percent, when it plunged 4 percent in the second quarter.

The numbers cover new investment in capital goods buildings and equipment, moreover, the key reason behind the decline was sharp drops in mining related activity.

Final estimations was concluded for business investment in the current financial year, standing at USD107.3 billion, which is 4.7 percent lower than invest in 2013/14.
