Oman's hotel revenue hit USD250.9m in H1


(MENAFN) Revenues of hotels classified as three- five stars exceeded USD250.9 million in the first six months ending June 30, according to the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

The number of hotel guests during the period also reached 556,622. Meanwhile, NCSI data on tourists reveal that about 1.14 million visitors came to the Sultanate until the end of June, 2015.

Non-Omani Gulf tourists topped the list of visitors at 317,542 in June 2015, followed by Indian visitors who numbered 131,341. They were followed by the British visitors (76,520) and Germans (61,729) respectively.
