Jordanian Minister of Religious Affairs meets UAE envoy

Amman 15th August 2015 (WAM)Dr. Hayel Abdulhafez Dawud Jordanian Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has praised the depth of bilateral ties between Jordan and the UAE during a meeting with the UAE Ambassador to Jordan Bilal Al Bodour.

The Jordanian minister informed the UAE envoy about his ministry's achievements and future plans. The two parties also discussed the existing co-operation between the ministries of religious affairs and relief and charitable agencies in the two countries.

They also tackled the role of the ministries in promoting tolerant teachings of Islam and combatting fanaticism hatred and extremist ideology through mosques and media.
