Vietnam's agro-forestry-fishery exports to decline 5 percent

(MENAFN) Vietnam's agro-forestry- fishery export value is expected to see a nearly 5-percent drop year-on-year in the first eight months of 2015, therefore earning some USD19.3 billion, down 4.8 percent compared to 2014.

On a larger scale, export income of agricultural, fishery and divisions are likely to fall by 7.7 percent and 17.5 percent year-on-year respectively, while forestry's revenue is projected to grow by 8.2 percent.

The fall in export revenues of key exported agricultural products contributed to the total decline, mainly rice which was down 13 percent, coffee's 33.1 percent, among others.
