Qatar- Stretch of Mansoura Street to be closed till October 10


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced a 355m long temporary partial closure on Al Mansoura Street until October 10 in order to complete the upgrade works of the existing sewage network within Al Najma area in Doha city.

The closure will stretch 50m before the intersection of the street with Al Kharaib Street up to 50m past the intersection of Al Mansoura Street with Al Bunduqiya Street.

The number of lanes along Al Mansoura Street will remain the same in both directions, one lane open to traffic in each direction, while street parking will be closed on both sides of Al Mansoura Street for the duration of the construction.

Also part of Al Kharaib Street will be closed at the intersection of the street with Al Mansoura Street. Road users can use the alternative local roads in the area as shown in the map.

Ashghal will install all necessary signage in the area to notify drivers during work period. Ashghal has urged all road users to abide by speed limits and traffic signs to ensure safety.
