Arab Idol 4 delayed until 2016: Ahlam

(MENAFN- Arab News) BEIRUT: Ahlam was the bearer of bad news this week when she announced that Arab Idol won't be returning to our TV screens until 2016.
The outspoken Emirati singer is a judge on the singing competition alongside fellow celebrity judges Lebanese singers Nancy Ajram and Wael Kfoury and Egyptian producer Hassan al Shafei.
The much-anticipated season 4 has been delayed for six months according to the Emirati singer who also told the Kuwait News Agency 'We've started working on the show a while back and we've finalized the auditions stage. However the show will be postponed for 6 months from its scheduled release date.'
Meanwhile MBC Group the channel that owns and airs the show is yet to comment on Ahlam's revelation including confirming the return of all four judges as well. Ahlam is rarely impressed by anything and having auditioned new voices from all over the Middle East this year who's her favorite voice from the well-established Arab singers?
'I absolutely adore Angham and just love Sherine Abdel Wahab. I'm so impressed by Assala's voice too. As for the male singers the person topping my list would be Bou Noura and Abdel Karim Abdel Qader whose voice I just adore. I also enjoy listening to Abu Bakr Salem and Abadi al-Johar from the Gulf.
'As for the rest of the Arab world I love Saber el-Rebai's voice Kathem el-Saher and Wael Kfoury who has a beautiful raw voice. I also love Sultan al Tarab George Wassouf whose voice I've loved since childhood' Ahlam said reported Laha Magazine.
