Saudi given 15 year prison for terrorism


(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: In yet another case of a terrorist being punished the special criminal court in its summer camp in Jeddah recently issued a primary order of a 15-year jail term for a Saudi national who was found guilty of terrorism.
The court was told that the man was also inciting sectarian trouble organizing gatherings of rioters in Al Awamiya in Qatif local media reported on Tuesday quoting sources.
The court has banned the convict from traveling abroad for a similar period after serving the sentence.
In his illegal activities the convict was found to have been supported by wanted criminals. He continued to be in contact with his neighbor for his personal needs after it was announced that he was wanted by security agencies. He was in touch with other men wanted by security agencies through BlackBerry.
