Kuwait's cabinet condemns occupation of UAE embassy in Sana'a

KUWAIT 24th August 2015 (WAM)The cabinet of the State of Kuwait has condemned the occupation of the UAE embassy building in Sana'a by Houthi group Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) said today.

In a statement issued following its weekly meeting chaired by the Kuwaiti Prime Minister H.H. Sheikh Jaber Al Mubarak Al Hamad Al Sabah the cabinet reiterated Kuwait's support to the UAE in whatever measures it would take to safeguard its interests.

KUNA quoted Kuwaiti Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs and Acting Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al Mubarak Al Sabah as saying that the cabinet stressed that the Houthis' move undermines the persistent efforts by the Arab coalition including the UAE to restore security and stability to Yemen.

It called for an end to the occupation as well as securing the safety of the embassy personnel.
