Qatar- Nine luxury townhouses in Qanat Quartier up for auction


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Leading Qatari shareholding firm United Development Company (UDC), master developer of The Pearl-Qatar, said it will auction nine luxury townhouses in Qanat Quartier.
The auction, according to UDC, will be conducted using the envelope method. Auction bids are to be submitted by 12 pm on September 13, 2015 at the Sales and Marketing Centre in the Oyster at The Pearl-Qatar.
UDC said it is auctioning some of the finest and most luxurious townhouses ever to be offered for sale at The Pearl-Qatar. This auction provides investors and buyers with the opportunity to get terrific bargains on luxurious townhouses located in the Venice-like community of Qanat Quartier, all of which enjoying scenic sea view as well as direct access to the beach.
The nine townhouses come in two or three bedroom units from 349sqm to 368sqm, all located on the glamorous beach stretch of Qanat Quartier. In addition to their standalone settings, each townhouse enjoys a contemporary look, immaculate sea view, direct access to the beach and is only minutes' walk away to Qanat Quartier's central retail area.
Successful bidders will receive their freehold titles in accordance with the provisions of the sale and purchase agreement and applicable laws.
Auction prices for each townhouse will be set according to the highest bid, provided it meets the terms and conditions set for the auction, including the minimum opening price of QR25,000 per sqm, UDC said.
A retainer payment of 20% of the property value is to be submitted through bank-certified checks. All nine townhouses are strictly to be used for residential purposes in accordance with the provisions of the sale and purchase agreement.
