Saudi- Bahra Cables factory back in business after fire incident
(MENAFN- Arab News) Bahra Cables Company reported that work in its advanced manufacturing factory has to come back to normal after the fire incident in one of its production floors on Aug. 17 that caused the death of four employees.
In a statement Bahra Cables Company assured that the fire incident will not affect the production facilities in the company and it will immediately work on the rehabilitation of the affected area in order to deliver customers' orders without delay particularly the orders required for major projects and Saudi Electricity Company's projects.
The company shared its condolences with the family members of the four deceased persons and notified that it will do everything in its ability to comfort and support them in this difficult time.
The relevant authorities have begun an investigation in cooperation with the company management to find out the cause of the confined fire incidents in one of its production floors.
The company extended thanks to the Civil Defense teams that rushed from Bahra Makkah and Jeddah to the fire site and dealt with it immediately.
Special thanks were also given to Major General Salem Matrafi director of Civil Defense in the Makkah Province for his personal attention and direct supervision and all Civil Defense teams in Bahra for their keenness swift response and efficiency in managing the fire and rescue operation.
Officials from the company said that five other employees who were injured in the incident were immediately transferred to hospital where they received the necessary medical treatment and were discharged the same day.
