Qatar- Mannai HEG hands over first batch of new Eicher bus orders

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Mannai Heavy Equipment Group (HEG), official dealers for Eicher Trucks and Buses in Qatar, recently concluded two major deals for Eicher buses with local infrastructure services companies.
This comes at a time when there is a growing demand for modern air-conditioned staff transportation, the company has noted.
Khalid Yousef, general manager of Mannai HEG, stressed that the overall demand was rising in the sector and several contractors, including existing and new HEG customers, were investing in building their fleets to exceed standard expectations while fuelling their growing business needs.
Yousef said, "New regulations mandate that workers are able to travel to their destination in greater comfort, accompanied by the need to upgrade the overall quality of commercial transportation fleets.
"Mannai HEG's partnership with Eicher helps deliver the reliability, protection and consistency our clients need. This is supported by world-class service infrastructure through Mannai HEG's fully integrated facility in the Industrial Area.
"HEG Service has qualified factory-trained professionals and a dedicated technical team that provides the after-sales service, while a fully computerised HEG Parts system ensures spare parts' availability and the optimum utilisation of these buses with superior uptime."
This is the first batch of planned orders of new Eicher staff transport buses.
At a recent handover ceremony, Mannai HEG confirmed the delivery of the first batch of its latest Eicher bus orders to Qatar-based Top Builders International and Delwan Qatar Group.
VECV representatives Sanjeev Mahajan, vice-president (international business); Amitabh Shrivastava, regional head (Middle East); and D Natarajan, manager (international business), were present at the ceremony along with Sherief Maulakkiriath, general manager of Top Builders International, and Shefeek Mohamed, general manager of Delwan Qatar Group.
The Eicher-branded buses from Mannai HEG come in 66- and 32-seat configurations. "They are equipped with powerful air-conditioners to beat the extreme heat," according to a statement.
