(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)Ambassador Mohammed Al Haisami Permanent Representative of Yemen to the Arab League has praised the UAE's leadership government and people for their unwavering support to Yemen.
He said the people of Yemen will remember and cherish the support of those who back them in "these critical circumstances". "We are proud of the ranking of the UAE as the world's top provider of humanitarian aid to Yemen" Al Haisami said in a statement. Al Haisami was referring to the ranking based on the reports of Financial Tracking Service (FTS) an organisation managed by the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) that tracks global humanitarian aid flow. He commended the level of fraternal relations between the two countries thanks to the wise leadership of the President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President of Yemen Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Ambassador Al Haisaimi said Yemen looks forward to a new phase of security peace and reconstruction. He said the UAE would have "a lion's share in rebuilding Yemen".
