Qatar- Emir holds talks with Eritrean president

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani held a session of talks with the President of Eritrea Isaias Afwerki at the Emiri Diwan yesterday.
The session dealt with the relations between Qatar and Eritrea and the means to support and develop them in addition to a host of topics of mutual interest.
HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani attended the talks.
On the Eritrean side, the session was attended by members of delegation accompanying President Afwerki.
Following the talks, the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Eritrean president and his accompanying delegation. Earlier on arrival, President Isaias Afwerki was received at Hamad International Airport by HE the Minister of Environment Ahmed Amer Mohamed al-Humaidi.
