Tokyo Stocks Fall on Thursday

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Tokyo stocks fell Thursday with investors remaining concerned about China's economic outlook as Shanghai stocks lost ground, and as a U.S. interest rate hike likely to weaken the yen seemed further off.
The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average ended down 189.11 points, or 0.94 percent, from Wednesday at 20,033.52. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 24.60 points, or 1.49 percent, lower at 1,623.88, according to Japan's (Kyodo) News Agency.
Decliners were led by insurance, rubber products and mining issues.
