(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A booby-trapped car blew up near a security building in a Cairo suburban district early on Thursday wounding eight people including six policemen, the Egyptian Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
The explosives-laden car was driven by a lone man, who suddenly pulled up in front of the National Security building in Shubra Al-Khaimah in Al-Qalyubiah, and boarded a motorbike, speeding away almost moments before it blew up.
Eight people including six policemen were wounded and the four-storey building facade was damaged. Nearby properties and some 20 cars were also damaged with impact of the explosion.
