Japan exports fall as China's demand declines


(MENAFN) Concerns already exist with the fragile recovery in Japan's economy as demand falls in neighboring giant China, which added up to the Japan's exports declining in July.

Despite the fact of Japan's exports rising 7.6 percent last month from a year ago, due to growing vehicle shipments, the volume of goods fell 0.7 percent from July 2014.

Regardless to recovery in the US economy, a slowdown in Japanese exporters top market has raised fears, a slowdown shown by the devaluation of yuan by central bank last week, raising concerns that China is growing more slowly than thought.

The weak figures reflected Japan's trade deficit narrowing a less-than-expected 72.3 per cent in July from a year ago, Japan's monthly deficit came in at USD2.15 billion, far below last year's USD7.7 billion.
