(MENAFN- ProactiveInvestors)LGO Energy (LON:LGO) told investors that its latest new well to start production came online with 'excellent flow characteristics'. Well GY-675 is the first of three to come online from the Pad-5 location on the Goudron field began producing at a rate of 325 barrels of oil per day. This was under natural flow through a 7/32-inch choke and a well head pressure of 640psi. The company is now putting the well through a phase of production tests and data gathering. Chief executive Neil Ritson said: 'We are delighted that the first of the Pad-5 wells has been completed successfully and is giving early indications of excellent flow characteristics.' Ritson also revealed the ongoing drilling for the GY-678 well should reach planned target depth in the next few weeks.
