Qatar- Ministry recalls Daihatsu vehicles
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in cooperation with Taleb Trading Company, has announced the recall of 2009-2014 models of Daihatsu Gran Max over a defect in the steering column.
The ministry said the recall is within the framework of it coordination and follow-up to ascertain dealers' commitment to follow up defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.
The ministry stressed that it will coordinate with dealers to follow up maintenance and repairs and communicate with customers to ensure implementation of procedures to fix defects.
It urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities to the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat.
