Arab League meeting to combat ISIL in Libya begins in Cairo


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) An Arab League extraordinary meeting on fighting ISIL in Libya began here Tuesday at the level of representatives.
The meeting, chaired by Libya and attended by Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil Al-Araby, will focus on Arab efforts to help Libya fend of ISIL.
The Interim Libyan government called on the Arab League to launch an offensive against ISIL elements in Libya in accordance with the Arab mutual defense treaty.
