(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The EU reiterated Tuesday its full support to ongoing UN-led talks to form a government of national unity in Libya and also to help the strife-torn country to stand on its feet.
"We have confirmed many times our readiness to support such a government of national accord as soon as it is established to help Libya to reap benefit of this agreement towards peace and stability," Catherine Ray, spokesperson for EU High Representative Federica Mogherini, told a news conference.
She said EU was ready to help in different areas including institution building and in assisting "in the rapid resumption of basic services once the national unity government is formed in Libya.
