Oman- Bangladesh Embassy introduces helplines


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Bangladesh Embassy in Muscat has introduced two helplines to strengthen its current support system for Non-Resident Bangladeshis in Oman.

Funded by the International Labour Organization the project has been implemented by Bangladesh's Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEW&OE) and aims at providing guidance and information to Non-Resident Bangladeshis.

Two numbers - 80081234 (toll-free) and 24603514 - have been activated as helplines. These lines at the embassy premises in Shatti al Qurum will be open from 8.30am to 4.30pm on weekdays. The timing may be extended to non-business hours in the days to come the release said.

Bangladeshi expatriates can get advice and assistance on labour complaints passport and consular services document authentication repatriating mortal remains special assistance to the sick and injured recovery of legal dues/compensation  etc.
