Oman- MoD official, RAFO commander meet Indian Air Force chief


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Mohammed bin Nasser al Rasbi secretary general in the Ministry of Defence (MoD) received in his office at Muaskar al Murtafaa on Monday Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha chief of the Indian Air Force.

They discussed several matters of common concern and reviewed relations between the two countries. The meeting was attended by Air Vice Marshal Mattar bin Ali al Obaidani commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) Air Commodore Hamdan bin Murshid al Lahori military attaché in Oman's Embassy in India and the military attaché of the Indian Embassy in Muscat.

Earlier Air Vice Marshal Obaidani met Air Chief Marshal Raha and his accompanying delegation. Upon arrival the Indian Air Force chief inspected the guard of honour at the RAFO command. The RAFO commander welcomed Air Chief Marshal Raha wishing him a successful visit to the sultanate.

The meeting was attended by Air Commodore Al Zubair bin Mohammed al Zubair director general of operations at RAFO Air Commodore Lahori and the military attaché of the Indian Embassy in Muscat. During the course of the day Air Chief Marshal Raha and his accompanying delegation visited the Military Technological College (MTC).

The Indian delegation was given a presentation on MTC its facilities and utilities. They were briefed on the curricula and specialisation subjects. The delegation toured the college's library and technical sections.
