Kuwait- Arrests In Mall Death


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A few hours after a Kuwaiti was stabbed to death and his compatriot was injured in a public brawl inside the 360 Mall in South Surra, officers from the Hawally Criminal Investigation Department arrested the suspects. In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department in the Interior Ministry disclosed the detectives arrested six suspects - three Kuwaitis, two Bedouns and an Iranian whose ages range from 14 to 19 years old.

According to the statement, a fight erupted Friday night at the mall between two Kuwaiti youths and the suspects, one of whom stabbed one of the Kuwaitis who succumbed to his injuries while another suspect stabbed the other who is now recuperating in the hospital. During interrogation, all suspects admitted involvement in the incident and each narrated the role they played.

KUWAIT CITY: An informed source from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) disclosed a new plan to ensure the security of aircraft, reports Al-Qabas daily. The new plan involves tight security measures in escorting Kuwaiti aircrafts inside and outside the country by raising the number of safety personnel, strict checking of passengers and their identification documents before boarding.
