(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kuwait Dr Abdulaziz Al-Fayez says terrorism is an international phenomenon which is not exclusive to a specific religion or region. He added a Saudi-Kuwaiti joint movement is being established to dissuade the growing threats of terrorism and confrontation, reports Al-Qabas daily.
As regards the suspicions over some Saudi citizens involved in terrorist operations perpetrated inside Kuwait, he lamented some Saudi youth are misled through the radical ideas which they adopt, as some individuals are misled through their religious groups sowing ideas of jihad in soil of their minds. In an interview with the daily, he confirmed the security systems in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are coordinating at all levels, indicating the recent terrorist explosion at Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque bolstered cooperation and coordination between the two countries.

He reaffirmed that Saudi-Kuwaiti relations are historical and deeprooted, reinforced by recent threats witnessed in the region and the international level. Meanwhile, in an unrelated development, sources close to the oil sector mentioned that the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor might levy fines on some companies in the oil sector for failing to pay the dues of Kuwaiti employees and failing to adhere to the Law No. 28/1969 related to the oil sector, says Al- Seyassah.
The sources indicated that failure to settle the dues of the employees has led to some contracting companies being labeled under Code 71 and the Directorate General of Manpower met yesterday with some representatives of the contracting companies involved to discuss the issue before legal representatives. The sources added that three representatives withdrew from the meeting and refused to sign the minutes of the meeting, whereas three others, in addition to Kuwait Oil Company signed the minutes with some reservations on some details regarding violations and requirements for implementing the law. The sources revealed that the manpower authority will call the relevant companies for another meeting, whereas the next meeting is schedule to take place Thursday.
