Muslim pilgrims start arriving in Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The first flight carrying 418 pilgrims arrived from Bangladesh to King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) here on Sunday, en route to the holy sites in Makkah and Madinah.
The Saudi Ministry of Hajj is working with the KAIA administration to shorten the time spent by pilgrims for the procedures at the airport to 30 minutes through leveraging "the electronic route system," according to SPA news agency.
Representatives of the Ministry of Hajj, the Ministry of Health and other competent departments welcome the new arrivals at the airport, offer them the necessary health advice and guide them to the service areas with a view to cutting the red tape.
Other flights arrived from India and Malaysia to Madinah airport which is set to receive 500,000 pilgrims this season.
