Tunisian police break up ISIL offshoot


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Tunisian Ministry of Interior announced late Sunday that the law-enforcers managed to dismantle a terrorist cell associated with the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or Daesh).
The National Research Unit in Terrorism Crimes of National Guard spotted members of the cell, including "a very dangerous element," in the northern city of Bizerte, the ministry said in a statement, affirming that the suspects adopt the radical ideology of ISIL.
Earlier in the day the National Guard killed a militant, identified later as Abdul-Haq Al-Dabbar, in Jebel Samama area in the governorate of Kasserine, west Tunisia.
