(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of condolences to H M King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain following the death of Sheikh Isa bin Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, praying to God Almighty to bestow mercy upon him, rest him in eternal peace and grant his family patience and solace.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent a cable of condolences to H M King Hamad.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent a similar cable to H M King Hamad.
Greetings sent to S Korea, India
Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to South Korean President Park Geun-hye on her country's National Day.
The Emir also sent a congratulatory cable to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee on his country's Independence Day.
Deputy Emir H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani also sent cables of congratulations to Park and Mukherjee.
Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani sent similar cables to Park and Mukherjee.
Ministry recalls 2011-12 Porsche Cayenne-Panamera
Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has announced the recall of 2011-2012 Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Panamera over defective fuel injector.
The ministry said the recall is within the framework of coordination and follow-up to ascertain car dealers' commitment to follow up vehicles' defects and repair them to protect consumers' rights.
The ministry stressed that it will coordinate with dealers to follow up maintenance and repairs and communicate with customers to ensure implementation of procedures to fix defects.
The ministry urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities to the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which receives complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
