Earlier this month the company said it has participated in a number of state solar power bids most recently in Telangana where it bid for 350 megawatts (MW). 'We've got a very strong indication now that a substantial portion of that will be awarded to us' said Smith. 'It's a great diversification opportunity to add to our wind turbine business.'
