Riyad Bank joins Nebras Project

(MENAFN- Arab News) Riyad Bank is taking part in Nebras the national project for drugs prevention supervised by the National Committee for Narcotics Control.
The bank contributed in the project by distributing pamphlets and brochures through its network of branches across the Kingdom to raise awareness of the effect of drug abuse.
Nebras was launched recently and will continue for the coming five years with the support of Crown Prince Mohammad bin Naif deputy premier minister of interior and the president of the National Committee for Narcotics Control.
The main purpose of the project is to raise awareness of drugs abuse and bring together the governmental and private sectors efforts to support the society especially young men and women against any attempt to fall in the swamp of drugs through an integrated program that includes many of the protective advisory curative and rehabilitative tracks that are designed according to the highest standards set by experts and specialists.
Mohamad Al-Rabeah general director of community services programs at Riyad Bank said joining the Nebras project is one of the tools that demonstrates the bank's commitment to social and national responsibilities making in-proclaimed efforts to confront the scourge threatening the security and safety of our society.
Al-Rabeah expressed Riyad Bank's pride to participate in such a project that delivers an important message to all the members of society without exception. The bank also looks forward to a state of general awareness among teenagers and young people to prevent falling into this dangerous scourge which threatens the future of our generations and the safety of our society.
