Youth keen to participate in sustainable development
(MENAFN- Arab News) JEDDAH: Young Saudis are keen to get involved in the Kingdom's sustainable development and so seek a bigger role in the development efforts across various fields local media reported on Wednesday.
Many consider World Youth Day falling on Wednesday an opportunity to play a role and remind the community of their valuable participation.
Abdullah Al-Zubaidi and Isam Mansour believe that the youth need support and opportunities to make contributions in their respective fields and participate in nation building.
The World Youth Day presents an opportunity to remind the community and the youth of their duties toward their country and community and encourage active behavior and productivity for further development said Ibrahim Abdul Hakim and Hamdi Khaled Al-Otaibi.
Ahlan Hazazi a graduate with physics as specialized subject and voluntary business leader said the youth these days are particularly concerned about taking part in the country's development and the Kingdom in return plays a great role in supporting youth through education development and numerous internal and extra opportunities.
'I always seek to improve myself and inform people of my skills in the field of handicrafts as my ambitions are not limited only to financial returns' said Hanan Mohammed Nahas who specializes in handcrafts.
'My aspirates for the World Youth Day is that there will be more opportunities for youth especially in Madinah in the fields of business and private projects and that they will have access to necessary services and support' said Al-Harbi.
