(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The 8th International Honey Festival concluded its activities in Baha region yesterday, which was organized by the beekeepers cooperative association in Baha during the period of Shawwal 15-26 with attendance of 50 participants from inside and outside the Kingdom.
During the closing ceremony, the President of beekeepers cooperative association in Baha and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the festival, Dr. Ahmed Khazem delivered a speech in which he commended the support and interest provided by the Governor of Baha Region for the festival, which witnessed many various events including displaying different kinds of honey in the region with international participation, along with various activities and programs that targeted families and children, expressing his thanks to the Governorate of Al-Baha; the official sponsor of the Festival, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage; University of Baha; Ministry of Agriculture and all the sponsors and supporters of the festival who have contributed to the success of its activities.
