(MENAFN- KNN India) UBM India, country's leading exhibition organizer, is organising Renewable Energy India Awards to recognise the innovations and contributions of the manufacturers in the Renewable Energy (RE) sector.
The award has two categories namely "Leading RE Manufacturers" for manufacturers operational in India and engaged in manufacture of products and machineries used by developers of RE and "Leading RE developers" for developers of RE present and operational in India.
Awards for manufacturers recognise effort and efficiencies of manufacturers set up in India, the potential for further development and practices implemented that has created an indelible mark on the energy sector.
Awards for developers recognise the developments made and initiatives undertaken by RE developers to generate and further use of renewable energy. It proposes to encourage use if innovative business and operational initiatives which ultimately positively impacts RE sector.
In this regards, UBM has called for applications from the manufacturers, producers, generators, transmission agencies and public firms before August 14. The award is open to all companies and organisations, developers and manufacturers, and their subunits - including Indian subunits of foreign organisations located in India.
Nominees of REI awards will get the benefits such as getting recognised as a thought leader in the space; aligning their brand with excellence and elite from the industry; enhancing their companies image in the minds of the best of the industry; being recognised for their talent, efforts, ideas and innovations; and a recognition that will be witnessed by the world on ET, social media and news coverage.
