(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Iraqi president Fuad Masum stressed the need for comprehensive reforms in all state institutions and the actual progress in the fight against corruption at all levels to serve the achievement of social justice and the provision of basic services for all.
Masum made the remarks during his meeting with Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq George Posten.
He stressed the importance of upholding the constitution , laws and the consensus that safeguard the country's unity and sovereignty.
For his part, Posten affirmed readiness of the international organization to provide all kinds of assistance to the Iraqi people to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the displaced and sustaining development in the country.
