Qatar shares on the upswing, index gains 108.01 points
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 108.01 points (+0.92) when the bourse closed trading at 11,787.71 points on Tuesday.
The daily turnover increased to QR 200mn with a volume of 3,069,243 shares from 3,007 deals compared to QR 175,493mn with a volume of 3,069,243 shares from 3,076 deals on Monday.
Indices of six sectors ended in green and one in red on Tuesday.
Real estate index gained +1.32% to 2,682.48 points. Industries index gained +0.44% to 3,733.58, while Telecoms index dropped -0.74% to 1,066.42 points.
QSE Total Return Index improved +0.92% to 18,322.31 points, QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index added +0.83% to 4,579.14 points and QSE All Share Index increased +0.76% to 3,148.4 points.
Of the 43 companies listed on QSE, investors exchanged shares of 41. Of them, 27 gained, 10 went down, and four were unchanged.
